The Loess Hills is a stretch of heavily wooded land running through NW Iowa. This area is rich of beautiful Eastern Red Cedar trees and logs. For the last 15 years we have been in the landscaping and tree nursery business. Our love for trees is carried out in our chainsaw carvings and furniture. Each item we craft is unique and can never be replicated. Several years ago, during the long cold winters of Iowa, we began creating small tree sculptures with chainsaws. As word got out the demand grew rapidly. We then ventured out and added tables, chairs, and beds to our product line. All of the wood we use in our chainsaw carvings would have been destroyed through a government program to eliminate Eastern Red Cedar trees. |
